Aly Indermühle brings thirty years of professional art experience to her illustration and storytelling. She grew up in Alaska, where her artistic journey blossomed as a child. Her creative path led her around the world before she settled in Sydney, Australia, where she has lived for the past two decades. With a Master of Fine Arts from the National Art School and lifelong training as a professional watercolourist, Aly creates memorable visual narratives featuring characters that resonate with both children and adults. Her diverse art career spans establishing an animation studio for the United States Air Force, working with MTV Productions in Switzerland, and creating light installations featured at VIVID Light and the Australian Open. Blending classical artistic training with contemporary digital expertise, Aly crafts engaging illustrations filled with narrative, colour, and emotion. When not creating in her studio, she shares life with her colourful astrophysicist husband and their pets.
