Bronwen Whyatt is a self-taught watercolour pencil/pen sketcher whose skills came to light while walking across France along the Chemin de St Jacques de Compostelle. Her whimsical style captures some of the history held in the textures and colours of buildings and landscapes. She has produced several calendars of her works in the past three years – Chemin de Compostelle and Camino del Norte in 2022, The Great Victorian Rail Trail in 2022, Somewhere in France in 2023, and Macclesfield in Watercolour in 2024. She is working on two new calendars for 2025 – Adelaide Hills in Watercolour and Sketching the Lot, France. She would love to see her gentle sketches grace the pages of books, educational, architectural or advertising publications and would welcome the opportunity to discuss any potential projects with authors and other collaborators.
