Stacey is an aspiring Author-Illustrator who loves creating scenes and characters filled with childhood nostalgia and wonder. Stacey’s artwork has won several awards, featured in galleries and self-published books, fabric collaborations and murals. Her custom hand-painted family portraits are a favorite among Etsy customers. Her illustrations are crafted with watercolor, pencil, ink, collage and digital. Stacey has completed courses at RMIT and CAE on Creating Children’s Picture Books as well as School of Creativity in California. She has a Bachelor and background in Midwifery and Special Care Nursing. Stacey’s illustrations capture the precious moments from the midst of motherhood, life on her homestead, her travels as well as memories from her childhood. She is familiar with speaking to a crowd of hundreds at the Church she leads alongside her husband. She homesteads and homeschools her children in Central Queensland in their 120 year old schoolhouse.
