Tam migrated to Australia from Singapore at 13 and went on to complete a Double Degree in Commerce and Economics. In 2013, Tam followed her heart and left a corporate job in institutional banking to pursue learning how to tell stories through art. Along with fellow passionate artists, she strives to bring viewers’ attention to important values and morals, create work that gives hope in challenging times, spark curiosity and bring individuals together by opening their eyes to truth and meaning. In 2017, Tam completed a Masters in Production Design at Victorian College of Arts and, at present, is working as a props painter at Fox Studios on the latest Marvel superhero feature film. In March 2020, she painted props for the Frozen Broadway musical in Sydney.
