Imogen Taylor is a Sydney-based illustrator and children’s author. Her illustrations have been used in logos, posters, greeting cards and children’s books —which are her passion. She began writing and illustrating stories to engage children as part of an educational outreach project, for a wildlife charity she helps run, raising funds for wildlife conservation initiatives from the book sales. She regularly visit schools to give interactive workshops, exploring the environmental issues that inspire her stories. Her knowledge and interest in the natural world makes her a good match for non-fiction children’s books on that topic. But she also loves creating silly, fun and imaginative worlds. Imogen works primarily in digital, watercolour, pastel and inks.
