Annie works from her studio in Melbourne, Australia and has illustrated over 90 books for children. She enjoys working in a variety of different areas but is particularly interested in the field of children’s literature where she likes to communicate ideas clearly and simply using expression and movement. Annie studied Art and Design for 4 years, worked in design studios and the advertising industry for 9 years and has since freelanced for a number of different publishers and other interested people. Some of her picture books have appeared on the CBCA Notables list and the Prime Minister’s Awards short list. Annie has also written 4 picture books- Clementine’s Walk and Clementine’s Bath (both short-listed for the Speech Pathology Awards), Clementine’s Treasure (CBCA Notable 2023) and Clementine’s Christmas – just out.
