Annie works from her studio in Melbourne, Australia and has illustrated over 70 books for children. She enjoys working in a variety of different areas but is particularly interested in the field of children’s literature where she likes to communicate ideas clearly and simply using expression and movement. Annie studied Art and Design for 4 years, worked in design studios and the advertising industry for 9 years and has since freelanced for a number of different publishers and other interested people. Some of her picture books have appeared on the CBCA Notables list and the Prime Minister’s Awards short list. Annie has also begun to write and her picture books, Clementine’s Walk and Clementine’s Bath were shortlisted for the Speech Pathology book awards.
