Katie Stewart

Katie Stewart is an illustrator and author, based in Western Australia. She has worked as an archaeologist, teacher and library assistant, but her first loves have always been art and writing. Her illustrations have appeared in a variety of publications, including children’s books, magazines, educational texts and cookery books. Though she prefers to work in freehand digital, she is also adept at pencil and ink drawings, watercolour, coloured pencil, pastel and acrylic. She especially loves to draw animals. Katie is the author and illustrator of 4 books -“What Colour is the Sea?” (2020), “Where Do the Stars Go?” (2021), “Wombat Can’t Sing” (2022) and “When I Can Fly” (August 2023)
