Kim Woolley

I work as an artist and illustrator and live with my family in beautiful Brisbane. My work to date includes over 60 books for children, many editorial illustrations, posters and puzzles as well as murals and the occasional mosaic piece. As well as producing my own artwork I run regular classes and workshops for kids from pre-school age to high school students. It’s always great fun and incredibly rewarding to be able to educate, inspire and encourage the younger generation.
Although I have drawn all kinds of subjects over the years, when left to my own devices I naturally tend to gravitate towards the fun or quirky aspects of everyday life, particularly with regard to animals and children, who provide endless inspiration without even trying. My work has often been described as whimsical, a term which I am happy to embrace.
