Calling all illustrators! We are thrilled to announced that the ASA Style File is open for submissions!
The ASA Style File is a curated portfolio site for illustrators to showcase their work. Originally set up more than 10 years ago, it has become a respected source of high quality illustrators for the Australian publishing community, launching the careers of many well-known Australian illustrators.
The ASA Style File service includes:
- 9-image SEO-enhanced portfolios featured on asastylefile.com, which is regularly promoted to the ASA’s network and wider industry network.
- A streamlined browsing system which will allow potential employers to find illustrators easily and quickly.
- A Job Board providing potential employers an opportunity to advertise their illustration jobs to the ASA Style File network.
- Access to exclusive Illustrator mentorships and free entry to the ASA Style File Illustration Award Mentorships
If you are an illustrator, seeking to boost your discoverability and job opportunities, now is the time to apply!
We encourage illustrators to start preparing their portfolios for consideration. Illustrators will need to provide 9 images to showcase their style as well as a 150-word biography for their portfolios. Key Dates
ASA Style File submissions open 7 September 2020, 9AM AEST.
Submissions Close 12 October 2020, 9am AEDT (extended from 2 October 2020, 5pm AEST).
Results announced week starting 28 October 2019.
