Illustrator Penelope Pratley spends her days creating wonder using watercolour, ink, pencil and mixed media. She adores stories for children and owns far too many pencil cases. Her particular focus is creating picture books and she has had work published by EK Books, New Frontier Publishing, and Christmas Press. Penelope was born on an island at the bottom of the world and now calls a sunny town on the North Coast of New South Wales, Australia home. Living with a surfer, an inventor, a ballerina, three chickens, a rabbit, and an ancient guinea pig, her heart is never short of inspiration. She only emerges from her garden studio to hunt for chocolate freckles, seek sunshine and take care of her beautiful family.
